I am writing a short story but i got stuck because i can't think of things that a butler would interrupt a person and ask. Pretend that i am a rich guy, and that i am deep in concentration, looking out over the ocean, out the window of my mansion. pretend you are my butler. You neask the butlered to ask me something that a butler would normally ask, that will snap me out of this daydream.
Sir, would you like some tea?
Sir, pardon me, but whatever can you be staring at?
Sir, you've never been one for conversation, but this is simply dreadful!
Sir, may I use the lavatoryask the butler?
Sir, pardon me, but are you trying to burn a hole in the window?
Sir, pardon me, but are aware that your souffle is burning?
Sir, did you know that including a butler in one's writing is somewhat of a faux pas in contemporary literature?
Sir, your wife is home.
