i am married to a very stubborn man who hates doctors but i know something is wrong with him but i just dont know what.for the past 2 years he gets these months long episodes that whenever and whatever he eats comes up.within a few minutes of eating he violently throws up.two years ago the dr said it was GERD(i say no).here is a list of his problems-vomiting after meals,pain on right side,pain after eating,jaundice,urination problems,inguinal hernia(possibility but almost positive).Am i wrong to be thinking stomach cancer?does anyone possibly have any other ideas?
Wow, this could be a lot of things, but having jaundice is really disturbing, indicating a potentially very serious life threatening problem.medical diagnosis website Certainly GERD associated with an esophageal stricture (narrowing of the esophagus) could cause many of his symptoms but not jaundice.
My concern is even if you could figure out what is wrong by going to a website, he would still need one or more treatments. He probable will need a variety of testing, xrays, blood tests etc. to figure everything that is wrong . (It may be more than one thing.)
Is there anyway you can talk him into seeing a doctor? Is there another person, perhaps a minister, friend or relative, that could talk him into it? Perhaps a combination of people?
What could this be? Here is an incomplete list: GERD, esophageal stricture, peptic ulcer disease, gastritis, gallmedical diagnosis website stones, pancreatitis, hepatitis, AIDS, cirrhosis, a bowel obstruction (due to his hernia possibly); cancer including stomach, esophagus, pancreatic, colon. Most of these conditions are potentially very serious and left untreated could cause death.
achalasia, incarcerating hiatal hernia, liver disease, all possibilities from the symptoms given.. Dont know about the urination and hernia.
i want to tell you that you and your husband are not to bright let me guess no health insurance right. well if your husband has an inguinal hernia that means his internal organs are protruding if that is not bad enough for you to take him to the hospital i dont know what to tell you

physics loveI love both math and physics and I'm a top student in school, shall I become a physicist or a mathematician?
I'm a 17 year old boy who has read a lot of books on math and physics. I love them both! I wish I could pick them both in the university; however I ought to choose one and study the other one besides college. I'll enter university next year. Which one do you suggest and why? Thanks for your suggestion.

Don't worry about that just yet, since either one requires 8-12 years of college, and you haven't even started studying either at the college level. Popular physics books are not like actually studying the subject. They tend to be very speculative and leave out all the actual math involved. Start college and take a few courses. See if you still like either of physics lovethem after taking E&M. Spend your college summers doing research in those fields with professors at your school or others to see if you're actually any good at coming up with original ideas, and to see if you like doing research. Then make a decision.
Realistically, you need to be looking relative to ACTUAL job opportunities (after graduation)..... and it's my guess unless you want to limit yourself to teaching math to highschool kids, mathematician would be a poor choice of avocations.

I'm having trouble with a roomate in Philadelphia. I need legal advice on how to legally kick her out of my apartment from a lawyer, but I don't have money to throw around. I've heard that there are places you can go online to get free legal advice (I mean actually asking a lawyer how to go about things, not just reading laws) especially with tenant laws, but I'm reluctant to just go anywhere that pops up on google. why do ladybugs have spotsYeah, why do Ladybugs have spots?
Just noticed the little advert on the side over there, and it asked if you know why Ladybugs have spots. That got me to thinking that I haven't thought about it before, but know that it has been entered into my head, I won;t get any rest until I found out. I figured some educated person (or even a Christian!!) might have the answer.
And, Christians, sorry about that little insult above. I know it is wrong, but just couldn't resist the temptation!! Please forgive me. Just having a bit of fun.
Ladybugs taste awful, and have a very weak toxin in their tissues. The bright colours are a warning to predators that they really don't want a mouthful of this.
It's the opposite to camouflage. Being noxious, they don't have to hide. Instead, it's beneficial to them to advertise the fact.

You can use any program that creates a graphic that can be printed. There is special inkjet printer paper that you print on , then iron it onto the t-shirt. You can use anything you have - paint, MS Word, Photoshop. etc. There is an excellecreate a t-shirtnt open source (free) program called The Gimp that is as good as Photoshop.
you can use things like puffy paint, fabric markers, stencils, and iron-on transfer paper.

You can use any program that creates a graphic that can be printed. There is special inkjet printer paper that you print on , then iron it onto the t-shirt. I am improving my life & have allot of questions about how others did this. Would polls be the place to go. An example of a question would be: Do you excercise & meditate everyday? If so how much time do you spend on each? or another question might be about discipline tips in eating a balanced diet. I imagine you mean fps games with single-player modes? Yes, you're in luck, I know all the best ones. These mostly have online multiplayer also, but you can do single player too.
There are a few that are only single-player, I'll list what I can think of.
Open Arena: this is Quake3. It's a free, open-source version. You can play on quake servers but you can also fight against bots on your own computer.
Sauerbraten: There are lots of single-player maps on this one, because it's easy for users to create them. You have a virtual map editor, you can just go into edit mode and fly around and build the terrain, weapons, powerups, monsters, objects, water, walls, etc.
AssaultCube: similar to Sauerbraten, different single-player maps.
Cube: the two previous oonline games freewarenes are based on this one, again you may as well look cause its maps are different.
Marathon: AlephOne - this one is a bit old and may not impress you but it's better than Doom, so maybe it'll be interesting. It has to be compiled from source. If you don't know how to do that, it's a great opportunity to learn a new skill. There's also Marathon 2 and one other title.
Quake 2: Why bother with Quake2 when Open Arena already is a clone of quake 3? because there's lots of single-player mods for quake2 engine. In fact it's the most-used fps engine for open-source games, except maybe the Unreal engine. For that matter there's lots of open-source single-player Doom content, but I figure you don't want anything that old.
The Hunted: This one is single-player only, in case you're a kid whose parenonline games freewarets won't let them have an online-capable game. It's a horror shooter though.
Transfusion: on the same engine as The Hunted, also a single-player only game.
If you can get ahold of the unreal engine, which supposedly is open-source now, there are a lot of good single-player mods for it, including America's Army, which is mostly online though you can go through training in singleplayer.
There are tons of mods for quake2. You can find most of the stuff I've listed at the linux game tome, www.happypenguin.org. Don't worry, I only listed stuff with windows versions.
