avg virus scamVirus scam help now plz?

Virus scam took away my internet?
My mum fell for the ammyy.com scam. I'm trying to fix it but one of the things it's done is taken away her internet connection. Every time I try to reconnect it her computer freezes. Opened it in safe mode with networking, still couldn't access internet. It won't let me access my firewall or anti-virus (I have AVG anti-virus and some basic Microsoft) or system restore even. Uh help?
My advice: Run Malwarebytes in safe mode (Not with networking). Also Burn a Kaspersky rescue disk. just download it and burn the iso file with ImgBurn ... to do this just install imgburn on any computer, and open it and write image to disk, select rescue disk iso and put a blank disk in. when its done put the cd in the infected computer, and restart... keep hitting f12 and then select your cd drive... run a scan. Same question again?
Do the following in this order:
- Go to a clean computer and download Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware (free).
-
- Transfer the program to a flash drive.
- avg virus scamGo to the infected computer and turn off System Restore (Google for instructions for your operating system)
- Boot the infected computer into safe mode with networking.
- Insert the flash drive and run the setup for Malwarebytes. Update it as well.
- Run a full system scan (may take quite a while) and delete everything it finds.
- Boot normally and see if it connects to the Internet..
- Turn System Restore back on.
Can you not remove it in Add or Remove Programs (XP)? It's called Programs and Features, in Vista and Windows 7. If you find it and uninstall it, try this afterwards...

Firstly, boot your computer to the Safe Mode menu screen. You do this by repeatedly pressing F8 as soon as you boot up. Once there, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Continue to boot from there, by pressing Enter.

If that's successful, download and run TDSSKiller.exe from Kaspersky Lab. It's tiny, and takes just a minute to run. It hunts down and kills a specific family of rootkits. Here's a link:

avg virus scamRegardless of the results, download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM). Install it, get updates and run a full scan (still in Safe Mode). Here's a link:

After that, boot normally and run another full scan with MBAM. It will detect any malware that wasn’t running in Safe Mode.

You should now delete TDSSKiller.exe, as updated versions are often made available. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware can be easily uninstalled, should you wish to do so, but it may prove to be beneficial in the future.

Hope this helps.
I don;t think system restore will fix it. System restore fixes windows files without deleting any of your documents. You might want to try re installing windows back onto the computer. Using system restore might work, It might be a corrupted windows file that wont let you access the internet.
posting the same question over again is called spamming - read the rules.

ammyy.com scam is not a virus, its a hack
