Having a few problems with my Xtreme XTSC-520 Satellite & Terrestrial Receiver Well I “think” it’s this model… Friend gave it to me…nothing on the case except Xtreme
(I’m running 2 parabols HOTBIRD 13° and ASTRA 19.2°
Had it for about 3 years now no problem… but recently it’s been freezing on certain channels and impossible to transfer new channels to the favourite list…. I selection the channel but when I press onastra satellite receiver software “exit” Where normally I would get a window asking do you want to keep this change…. the screen just goes green and the box crashes. Generally not behaving its self anymore
Question/ Do you think this is a Hardware or Software problem. Obviously if its a hardware problem it probably be cheaper to throw it out and buy a new one.
But if its a Software problem…. how would I fix it… It does have a USB in… but what do I do wastra satellite receiver softwareith it…. Sorry to be so vague about the “ problem” I’ve checked out the
OS (Stream System) on the net…but I’m a bit lost as of what to do.

I would walk outside first and make sure nothing is blocking it's path. If that's not an issue, then find out what the actual make of the receiver is and go to that website. Most have software updates and troubleshooting available.
